Install ZStack

This topic provides an example of how to install a ZStack Enterprise Management Node.

  1. Automatically install ZStack Management Node.
If you select the ZStack Enterprise Management Node, the system will automatically install ZStack management node after the system is rebooted, as shown in Automatically Install Management Node.

    Note:
    • During the installation, the root password of MariaDB is set to zstack.mysql.password by default. Meanwhile, a user named zstack with its password zstack.password is created in MariaDB.
    • After completing the installation, you will see a popup page with the help information, indicating that ZStack is installed under the /usr/local/zstack/ directory, and two command-line tools (/usr/bin/zstack-ctl and /usr/bin/zstack-cli) are provided.
  2. Log in to the system.

Enter the URL address (http://your_machine_IP:5000), and open the UI. (We recommend that you use Chrome or Firefox. Take Chrome as an example below). If you are logging in to the system for the first time, use the account name (admin) and password (password).

For more information about system login, see System Login in the User Guide.

The Figure 2 on the Chrome browser is as follows.
