Quick Start

The Continuous Data Protection (CDP) service allows you to back up and restore VM data in a local backup server, and retrieve files without restoring the system.

To quick start the Continuous Data Protection function, follow these steps:
  • CDP Backup:
    1. Add a local backup server to ZStack Cloud.
    2. Create a CDP task for VM instances.
    3. Manage local CDP data.
  • CDP Recovery:
    1. Restore CDP data of the VM instance to local.
    2. View the recovery progress.
    3. View the relevant resource that has been restored to local.
